I’ve been using TAC MIC-PRE ONEs in my drum studio for 5 years now and they’ve transformed my set up. I use them on overheads and room mics and the best word I can use to describe the change is AIR!
The change before and after using the MICPRE ONEs is instantaneous and palpable. The sonic space is more transparent and there’s a breadth to the overall sound that just wasn’t there previously. I’ve used the on dozens of albums and keep coming back for more.
